Oculus Rift

  • We've been testing the game thoroughly and the answer is clear; Eye in the Sky finally is officially playable with the Oculus Rift + Touch!
    • Trigger is for picking up objects
    • Press the joystick to use your pointers



General improvements

  • Small story bits are implemented to make the world a little more alive
  • Slightly increased the Eye's reach
  • Slightly improved accessibility of some puzzles for shorter humans playing as the Eye
  • Minor improvements in all levels like hint notes, more props should help avoid getting stuck too long
  • Buttons now interact with cubes from a bit further away; this should help Eye players avoid cubes flying away because of them being pressed through the button
  • Removed disclaimer



Level changes

  • Tutorial
    • Brand new level introducing the story and some basic puzzle elements!


  • Junkyard_1
    • Small story bit implemented
    • Slight adjustments to some jump puzzles and button placement
    • Fixed various deadspots the Light could get stuck in


  • Junkyard_2
    • Small changes to make the puzzles pathing more clear


  • Junkyard_3
    • Fixed glossy terrain
    • Fixed an invisible wall that would let the Light skip the complete level (whoops!)
    • Added a password screen to improve clarity of the symbol puzzle
    • Light blips on the map are better visible


  • Junkyard_4
    • The Light can now escape the barrel room if the Eye lost the Cubes
    • Fixed color puzzle - no more trial and erroring
    • Fixed deadspot in the hidden room


  • Junkyard_5
    • The Eye can reach a bit further into the goo pool to grab lost cubes


  • Sewers_2
    • Added password screen to improve clarity of the symbol puzzle


  • Sewers_3
    • Slightly increased the size of barrels; this should decrease the Light slipping off when the barrel floats on water
    • Improved the pathing of the overall puzzle
    • Can no longer skip a big part of the level


  • Sewers_4
    • Spawning pipes is now limited by a resource. Recycle surplus in the incinerator!


  • Inner City_1
    • Brand new level introducing lasers, cool color puzzles and a small story finale!
    • Inner City takes place after the Eye and Light's escape from the Sewers



    Other solved issues

    • The menu should now always load
    • Legacy SP achievements are removed (go get your 100% now!)
    • LevelLoader now Loads Levels fully Loaded as the LevelLoader is intended to Load Levels.
    • Fixed delay on interacting with cranks



    Final word

    It’s been almost a year since we at VinLia Games started this crazy little project of ours. Eye in the Sky went into Early Access in April and as development continued we learned a lot about what you guys liked and what we wanted to achieve with our game. Your reactions to the game were overwhelmingly positive and we thank all of you for joining us on this development adventure.
    We'll continue to monitor the forum, so if anything goes wrong let us know. But for now, go out there and go have some fun!
