It wasn't too clear on how to progress in the game, from the hidden ladders, to the golem boss arena, to finding the imprisoned npc in the dungeon. I've made improvements to these areas to hopefully make the whole thing a little more intuitive. I've also made a lot of changes to how save files work behind the scenes. Files should become corrupt a lot less often, as well as keeping a backup save from the last stable save state. A bunch of QoL and fixes are also included.
Whats Next?
I'll continue to work on bug fixes and QoL features such as, using items directly from the inventory or mouse, preventing the craft recipes from shuffling around mid craft, placing floor tiles under walls.
I'm also currently working on the next bosses(the dungeon and tundra), as well as a new small side island to explore.

Added
- Replaced hidden ladders in caves with locked trapdoors. These require copper and iron keys to open(new world only)
- Added new shrines that are generated randomly throughout the world. These provide unique buffs and +recharge over time(new world only)
- Added sort buttons to inventory screen and containers
- Added map markers for NPCs and bosses
Changes and Improvements
- Corrupt or missing save files will be marked on the world select screen
- Corrupt saves will attempt to load the previous save state(requires post-patch save)
- Hostile creatures will no longer spawn on most crafted floor tiles
- Ship level light and colour is now related to the time of day
- Map screen zoom level will now be saved when closing the map
- Furnace no longer burns new fuel while idle
- Adjusted loottables for breakable boxes found underground and in dungeons
- Ammo looted from the world will now automatically stack in the ammo bag
- Artifact descriptions are no longer cut off on the artifact screen
- Cooking and alchemy ingredients are now counted while on the hotbar
- Adjusted the health of most creatures found in tundra
- Chests spawned in the world are no longer hidden behind larger tiles
- Loading screen now uses the updated menu art
- Existing hidden ladders now have a different sprite
Fixed
- Saves are much less likely to corrupt when closing the game, or from crashing
- Fixed a crash caused by autosaving while travelling to an island
- Fixed a crash on the world select screen caused by a corrupt save file
- Deathcap mushrooms will now regrow in caves
- Autosave selected setting was not being applied on game launch
- Passive creatures will now slowly spawn over time
- Item collection screens now display items on multiple rows
- Inventory close button is now aligned correctly for all resolutions
