Alpha 1.6.0 is now available. This update adds a new system for blood on weapons that adds both texture and transparency variation as blood accumulates on each weapon. Any feedback, bug reports, etc. can be posted in the discussion boards.
Alpha 1.6.0 Changes
- added a new blood on weapons system
- added broken weapon warning message
- updated blood placement (more blood!)
- updated high settings to use realtime reflections
- updated low settings to use pre-baked reflections
- updated player-controlled melons to not spawn with weapons impaled in them
- updated shadow distances (optimization)
- updated all melons to die when the game ends
- updated blood decals draw distance (optimization)
- updated melons to not continue spawning after the game ends (optimization)
- updated check for weapons that need to be removed (optimization)
- updated check for out of bounds weapons (optimization)
- updated dead melons to be reused (optimization)
- fixed round increasing before all melons are dead bug
