Hello everyone, I have a message directly from the developer team regarding Kingshunt:
"To All Warriors,
We have important news regarding the future of Kingshunt we would like to share with you.
After careful consideration and deliberation, we have made a difficult decision to pull Kingshunt out from Steam. This means there will be no further updates or patches, and the servers will remain open until January 6, 2023. Our most difficult decision is also for the community, we want to be honest and respect your trust.
We have learned a lot in the first Open Beta stage of Kinghunt, but as a small indie dev team, we do not have the bandwidth to both make new content and changes, while also running the live game.
Thanks to our amazing community, we believe we have enough feedback to concentrate on giving Kingshunt more depth with new heroes and game modes before bringing it back to a live model.
We understand that many of you will be disappointed and will have a lot of questions regarding the future of Vaki Games, updates, and more. We hope that the FAQ on our website will answer some of them.
In the time leading up to the server shutdown, we will disable all in-game purchases and make premium skins and bundles purchasable with shards. This includes all the new Winterfest content, the event will still run as planned and is currently live.
We want to emphasize how grateful we are to you, our community. Our close-knit relationship and connection are very special to us. Your enthusiasm, patience, and support for our game have been overwhelming — we could not have gone this far without you.

Thank you all for your amazing feedback and the fun we had during the Open Beta! We had a blast playing with you all, and you can bet I will be there on the battlefield when the game comes back!
Anyone looking to play matches over the holidays, feel free to use the LFG ping in our discord and we will do our best to join in on the fun!
