Game: A House of Many Doors
Hello again! As outlined in my previous post, A House of Many Doors is finally being updated with much-needed bugfixes and quality-of-life improvements, thanks to the hard work of super-fan Altotas.
Please note that this update is massive and, as such, it will break existing saves. If you have an ongoing playthrough you want to preserve, you can switch back to the old version of the game very easily through Steam. Simply right click on the game in your library -> "Properties" -> "Betas" -> select the "compatibility" branch.
Thank you so much to all of you still playing A House of Many Doors. I poured my heart and soul into this game and it's so gratifying to know that there's finally an official polished version out there. Let me leave you with a list of links:

-Proper deactivation of interactable scenery objects
-Texture cache flushing added
-An option to toggle additional Linux support in the main menu (disables some shaders that tend to crash the game for Linux users)
-Slightly bigger line breaks for text
-Got rid of the practically unreadable small font used in a few places
-Increased transparency of the Notes (was obscuring the left corner of the screen too much)
-More icons for cargo items and various other occasions
-Current date display is lowered slightly and now also shows the region name
-Adjusted UI of the Cargo tab
-An attempt at fixing the scrollbar sometimes falling out of the dialogue box
-Logbook sub-tabs now properly close when you click open the next one (just like the cargo tab already worked)

-Rearranged Miscellaneous Event Options so the quest-related ones are always on top. Also, reduced the number of tabs by separating them into categories
-Added "Review the clues about the City of Glass" to the Miscellaneous Event Options
-An option to drink Soporific Draught when you are Sleepless
-While staying at various locations of the House, Miscellaneous Event Options are available under the separate tab called "Inside the kinetopede" to reduce cluttering
-Fixed Sanity bar getting stuck (prevents it from going over 100 or under 0)
-Player name turns red when one wound away from death
-Fixed missing speech bubbles for certain crew members (UI element that shows you can start or progress their concerns)
-"Continue" button now always correctly loads the latest save
-When recruiting old friends, you can now see the tag "" or ""
-Recruitment and Room of Memories now properly take into account instances when your crew members leave the team or are missing in action
-All romances properly terminate with your partner’s death or them permanently leaving the crew
-Rearranged the crew dialogue screen so the "Return" button always appears on top
-Fixed Char's bugged romance progression
-Corrected the required payment to Madam Sadie and Ten-a-Penny during Char's concern
-Fixed one of the outcomes during Banjo's event in Waste Disposal

-The long-standing Sandy's soft-lock when you do her concern after a certain event is now fixed by the addition of the short alternative scene
-Missing text added back to Lucetta's recruitment screen
-Fixed an exploit with infinitely obtainable Expiriences during Lucetta's recruitment
-Fixed a repeatable exploit during Bishop's concern
-Small Viola-centric plot hole is rectified
-Fix for "Inspection" events not firing consistently
-More expensive lodgings now have access to the new Stash function (with corresponding Logbook tab)
-Taking a month off now also heals your "Maimed" status
-Adjusted prices in shops to make trading a lil bit more profitable and eliminate exploits
-When you buy a kinetopede upgrade, it is then removed from sale. Similarly, if you already bought four weapons of the same kind, you can't buy more of them
-For all kinetopede upgrades, you can read a preview of what they actually do before you buy them
-Fixed Morbazar's Scrutiny that was supposed to be buyable from the Nameless Library
-Banshee weapon is properly available for purchase in Ghoulwatch
-Trepannic Fluid and Scorthidion's Scrutiny are available for purchase in Harlequin
-Shop in MFS now properly reacts to the change of regime in the Chimeric Empire
-Added missing text to Kelp Fortress, Recalcitrance and Calaram shops
-To mitigate the hull damage done to your kinetopede after buying and changing armour, one time free hull repair is available after its purchase
-Fixed "Number Of Times Visited Panomnicon" variable not saving properly (btw this was the reason why "Explorer" achievment wasn't actually achievable for some players)
-Fixed the critically bugged Funghetto event in the City of Keys
-Crossing Tarwater in the City of Engines now actually takes the required 20G out of your pockets
-Fixed a minor inconsistency with Brabazon Bridge event in the City of Bridges
-You can obtain Radical Pamphlets in Cinders Common (City of Angels) or in Harlequin
-Any leftover Sleepless Wretches can be released into the wilds of the Waker’s Respite after certain destructive event
-Fixed preaching events (often used wrong variable flags when checking what god you worship)
-Added an option to take the girl from Brite as a passenger
-Scavenging in Waste Disposal now actually has a failstate (no more crashing)
-Fixed an absolutely insane bug that gave player 10 apprehensions per second on a particular screen in the Cyrus Institute
-Fixed a repeatable Unique Expirience in Skeleton Party
-Fixed an exploit with repeatable wandering events after save-loads
-Fixed the wrong money requirements for Primordial Oddity in the Howling Pits and other such instances (usually Rest prices and various bribes)
-Slightly increased sanity recovered on rest in various locations

-Writing poetry now allows you to not memorise your poems
-Lady Nyctimene now actually gives you the rare Angelwine bottle in exchange for the Swarm Bomb (instead of the game straight up lying about it in your face)
-Silent Minister needs three Glimpses for one of her mirrors (let's be real, it was too easy before)
-The rotten feast event is fixed (you get Expiriences only first time, and then - only Mind-Shattering Disruptions)
-Electing Ninth Minister won't brake your concerns anymore - alternative scenes were set up for all of them. Descriptions of surrounding locations change accordingly
-Raised the reward from Lady Vadhera Thespian
-Raised the reward for ending the Entomarch War
-To prevent possible soft-lock, when you finish working for Ragged Emperor but don't have stability low enough to finish the main concern of the Chimeric Empire, each neutral biomech kill now decreases the Empire’s stability
-Fixed a bug during Lisshan concern that erroneously deposited Fake Rebel Plans in your pocket, breaking quest logic in the process
-Lisshan concern now properly checks what Plans you currently hold and warns you when you are about to make a descision that'll lock you out of helping the other side, thus making it more transparent for the player
-After Lisshan concern any leftover Plans in your possession should be automatically removed now (just a fail-safe, you will probably never need it)
-Slightly raised the skill check for star theft (makes it a little harder to miss one of the requirements for a "Death's Justiciar" achievement)
-Better texture for the snow background
-Refined collision on many scenery objects
-Increased the probability of crew banter events occuring
-Adjusted the probability of a couple of random events occuring
-Increased the chance of darkness monster encounters
-Fixed the game awarding you with the Bounty Hunter distinction even if you already have it
-Birthday event now actually triggers
-Disabled saving in the dark rooms (because this feature, plain and simple, does not work and can be used as an exploit)
-Fixed all instances of the player slipping through the locked walls of the House
-Corrected internal border coords of some regions (Oddwinter in particular was "spilling over" some assets outside the designated coords)
-Increased the spawn chance of rare region-specific scenery objects in dark rooms
-Adjusted the distance of Navigator's map updates
-Fixed three locations being undetectable by your Navigator
-Added red lights to all concern-related enemies that were missing it
-Fixed various small bugs with mirror travel
-Overburdened mirror travel exploit is fixed
-Mirror travel destinations are arranged into groups by region
-"Number Of Times Visited" variables now properly take into account mirror travel
-Increased crew moving speed

-Doubled Tyrannic's HP
-Victories now slightly boost your sanity (+10 points), failing to flee slightly reduces it (-5 points)

-Shortened pauses between musical tracks
-Halved the EnemyEngineEmitter falloff (the Cathedral Tanks were the worst offenders, still clanking loudly long after vanishing from the screen)
-Various typos corrected
-"Cruise Control" function and hotkey added ("G" by default, but can be rebinded)
-Small corrections and clarifications for tutorial popups
-Fixed various bugs with Divine Favours and Rewards
-Cobblestone Favour now can be exchanged for three free hull repairs instead of one
-Small increase to the Scrutiny gain during some specific actions
-Trophy items correctly increase and reduce stats when they are equipped/unequipped
