Game: Goliath
Good day to you, Goliath builders! We are a little bit late with this update, true. The reason is, well, even though it was very cool update, it was pretty much breaking all save data. Which is totally not a good feature for an update, and not cool in general. But no worries, we found it in time, we fixed it, everything is alright now – now it is just a cool update.

GOLIATH 1.04. LIST OF CHANGES

THE MOST IMPORTANT
- BESTIARY! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ YASS! We added it! But if you think that you can easily find all the monsters by name while dancing and calling Dave – well, nope, at least, not exactly like that. You see, Gromov is new here, he pretty much knows nothing about monsters. BUT Drogkh, the hunter, knows A LOT about monsters! Go to Grogkh and ask his advice, he would be delighted to tell you about monsters everything he knows, and help you with experiments. With pictures and descriptions. Of course, to learn something new, you will have to defeat the monster first in a fair (or not so much) fight. But we believe in you. Gromov believes in you. You will make it! Just do it!
- CAMERA! ..stayed the same. And the camera controls too. BUT! Now you can zoom it out even more! It gives you comfortable full view. Now you can properly make out all the monsters trying to chew off different chunks of you. Please, leave us comments on what do you think about camera now. We kind of like it (But it is not about us, but you).
- WE’VE INCREASED LEVEL-CAP! UP TO 100! Yep: monsters can be even stronger now, your Goliaths – more powerful! And it is all not for nothing – we are preparing content update, by the way, it will be there pretty soon (but, hush-hush, for now. We will write separate piece about it – oh, we do love writing, you’ve probably already noticed it).

PERFORMANCE AND OPTIMIZATION
- ROBOTS’ PROJECTILES. This one may sound strange for this section. But sometimes projectiles were displayed poorly on low-end systems. Not anymore.

UI AND CONTROLS
- BESTIARY! We’ve already written about it. But, hey, IT IS BESTIARY! WE ARE UP TO WRITING ABOUT IT IN EVERY SECTION!
- NEW SYSTEM OF PRIORITIES FOR NPCS. Couldn’t talk to the trader without picking up all the items laying around? Worry no more. We’ve realized that we are not your mother to make you clean up all around. Now talking to NPC is always more important than picking up items.
- GLOBAL MAP WORLDS FIXED. Roboworlds were displaying as jungle worlds before. Obviously, roboworlds and jungle are extremely related biomes. But still different, yep.

QUESTS
- BESTIARY! As promised, writing about it again! No, seriously, we like it.
- LOST IN TRANSLATION: TROLL. Now troll follows you correctly, even if you are trying to confuse him and cunningly run away – nope, won’t work. We taught troll how to unfairly teleport just in case, to make the quest completable even it (he?) got stuck somewhere.
- CAMP BLADECATCHER could be generated with impassable rocks on the way (which is very disappointing, by the way). Won’t happen again.
- RABBITS AND TRAPS. Previously, caught in a trap rabbit could be accidentally killed, which could break the quest in a very original manner. Now you can still kill (accidently, right?) the rabbit, but the trap will immediately become available for the new victim. Open new horizons for your cruelty! (we still hope that it was an accident).
- OH DEAR, WE FINALLY FIXED RESPAWN OF COCOONS, BERRIES AND NESTS! Yes! All respawn now, the way it should be from the very beginning! More dodos, more spiders and inexhaustible source of jam for you!
- SMALL PROBLEMS WITH QUESTS AND DIALOGUES. Fixed it here and there, nothing important, but a loooot of it.

BUGS AND WEIRD_THINGS
- ABOUT BESTIARY..nope, we are not going to write anymore, totally not. We’ve already written 3 times about it. BESTIARY! Oops, sorry, hand slipped.
- ZANY ENEMIES. Sometimes tall enemies couldn’t hit Gromov, giving you a false sense of invulnerability and power. But we’ve finished with it! Now you are stomped on, chomped and crushed with a very special zeal.
- BLEEDING ROBOTS. Now when you damage the robots, robots will not bleed with blood only with clean engine oil.
- DECORATIVE STONES OF BROTHERHOOD VILLAGE are not destroyed with the Goilath skills now. Find another way to annoy the Brotherhood, ok?
- MINES IN TREASURES. Well, let’s be objective - it was weird and kind of rude. You dig up the treasure and get – KABOOM DEATH. So we took mines..AND HIDED IT IN A SURPRISE PLACE (nope, just got rid of it and that’s it).
- QUEST FOX DOES NOT BURN ANYMORE. This is the exact phrase from our internal patchnote for internal issue. We find it poetic.
- CUBIC TURRETS WHITHOUT TEXTURES. Funny looking little fellas. Unfortunately, it was a bug, and we got rid of it. We going to miss them.
- SNIPER THORNSPITTERS are no longer shooting you right in the eye from the distance of several kilometers. And behave more modestly in general.
- HUNDREDS, THOUSANDS, MILLIONS OF TINY BUGS. We keep improving the game and making it better and better with your help. Some of the improvements are internal, and all about the structure of the game, technical stuff – it may not be seen, but it really helps us prepare the base for fixes and improvements, as well as helps us not to break one things while fixing other.
Also, there are plenty of other small fixes, but we won’t post it all here in order to save you years of reading all these letters (we exaggerate, of course, but only a little).
