Hopalong: The Badlands v0.8 Update Notes
- Outskirts has been expanded into an entire chapter with 4 new areas to explore
- 2 all new Outskirts areas
- 2 brand new Mine areas within the Outskirts chapter
- Added hidden collectibles for players to find
- Performance improvements for bandit AI
- Removed sad tumbleweed from Canyon level, increased mood by 30%
- Added new VO work
- Fixed bug where stick horses became sentient and attempted a revolution
- More bug fixes

Expanded Outskirts Chapter

We’ve added two brand new explorable outdoor areas to the Outskirts level already in game. Speed through cliff passes, find hidden paths, and breathe in the wide new vistas!

New Mines Areas

Deep in the hills and cliffs, the Boomity Boys have taken over the minecart system and set up shop! In addition to the Outskirts areas, there are two all new Mines for players to explore. Packed full of dark corners, hidden passages, and xplosive puzzles, there’s no telling what the Sheriff will face in those dark caves…

Collectibles

Players can now find Sheriff Stars hidden throughout each of the levels. The amount collected thus far is displayed outside of each tunnel in the main menu of the game. Think you can dodge, duck, and dig your way to each stars hiding spot?
