Hello everyone!

Versus Squad version 1.24 should now be live on Steam. These are the changes/additions since version 1.22:

Thanks for all these suggestions!

Added the Flamethrower weapon!

The Flamer Boss will usually drop his M2 Flamethrower when killed. Although moderately useful against bosses, this weapon can be very effective against regular enemies. Simply setting enemies on fire will kill them very quickly - there is no need to keep targeting them until they are dead. This makes the Flamethrower different from the other weapon types.

Added the weapon's associated achievement "Fired Up"

Building/Waves

Increased Wave build time in coop to 60 seconds to allow more repair time. (Remember you can skip the build phase with Space/Left Trigger).

Unified wave enemy numbers. Waves now ramp up from 25 enemies (instead of 50) at wave 1, 50 in wave 2, 75 wave 3, etc. To offset, there's 20% more chance of running enemies in earlier waves.

Coins

Increased coin pickup time by +5 secs, plus increased coin visibility, larger font.

Gameplay

Added a player grenade counter for coop. You can now see how many grenades other players have to help you to decide to share grenade pickups.

Made the grenade counter for Remote Detonator (at crosshair position) easier to read

Added a transparent melee range overlay when using melee weapons.

When picking up a Ghost powerup when you already have ghosts active, the active Ghosts will now stay on the map for the correct longer duration.

Suicide Bombers now give 500 Xp instead of 250 Xp when killed.

Added a red shield glow for Death Clock to help you see when Death Clock is active.

Boss Power powerup drop spacing. When you have Boss Power, the two powerups dropped by bosses should no longer overlap making it easier to see what they have dropped. There is also now 50% less chance of identical powerups dropping.

Gamepads

Pressing B for Back when you have an item to build will now correctly cancel the build and bring you back to the inventory.

Better object placing 'snapping' for gamepad users when building.
