A new version of Board Games VR has just been released to the Steam store.

This release comes with improvements.


Please use the menu button on your controller to show/hide the game menu.

What's new

• Steam VR is checked when the game starts (since the game is currently being made to work with Steam VR hardware)
  
• Minor under the hood improvements to the overall game performance
  
• Automatically hide the game menu, when user makes a game selection
  
• Fixed an issue with the backgammon, when suddenly the computer played a turn for the user, after the user rolled the dice
  
• Fixed an issue with the checkers game where sometimes the game was won/lost mid-game
  
• Fixed the issue with the checkers game where dice numbers were displayed by mistake
  

Known issues

• Often the computer AI does not play a good game in either backgammon or checkers
  
• User still has to use the menu button on the controller to show the game menu, without any instructions
