Hello! Just a few tweaks and fixes in this update, but there's some new features coming in another update next week!

The game running in a new engine & unlocking the game speed from the frame rate may potentially cause issues, so let me know!

v1.2.2 Change List



  • Updated to GMS2 from GMS1
  • Game speed no longer locked to frame rate
  • Saves are backed up every time the game is started
  • Dynamic Camera Split in co-op mode no longer splits during boss fights
  • Small invulnerability grace period after exiting doorway

  • Fixed camera issues in arena mode co-op
  • Fixed monster hunter blessing affecting self damage
  • Fixed Guinea Pig challenge not unlocking
  • Fixed visual of Tomlock (tier 2+) icon on keyboard hotkeys
  • Fixed relic icons appearing above arena door
  • Fixed player 1's ghost jumping to allies' dead bodies

  • Fixed Red Turban showing as "undefined"
  • Fixed Iron Face orbs not breaking out of their shells

  • Added an "alternate" branch
    To access, right click on Caveblazers in your Steam library -> Properties -> Betas tab -> select "alternate" from the dropdown menu -> Close
  • Fixed "second index out of bounds" error
  • Fixed some display settings issues
  • Fixed Ankh effect not ending sometimes


v1.2.2c Change List



  • Fixed Spectral Blade error
  • Fixed add_blessing error
  • Fixed lightning bomb modifier error


An earlier version (v1.2.1) is also available on the previous_version branch, which has almost all of the changes from v1.2.2, but is still running in GMS1 - in case you have issues with the GMS2 version.
