Hello soldiers,

The annual Christmas event in Verdun is live again! From today ( Dec 22) until January 5, you can experience the Christmas Truce!

You can participate by calling a truce and enter No Man’s Land by choosing the ‘Christmas Truce’ option from the Play menu in the game. Here you’re able to meet fellow soldiers, together in a peaceful setting based on the actual Christmas Truce that took place in 1914 on the Western Front.
Want to read more about the Christmas Truce and how we recreated it? You can read it in this article.

Festive activities

During the Christmas Truce in Verdun, you’re able to participate in multiple activities alongside your fellow soldiers. Join a friendly match of football (soccer), have a snowball fight or just have a nice relaxing stroll on the map to enjoy the winter white scenery.
At the end of your activities, you can all hurdle up together and relax at the bonfire, listen to some old Christmas Carols and say goodbye to the soldiers who lost their lives by attending a burial.

Christmas wishes from the front

You can send special Christmas wishes to your loved ones straight from the game! There are post offices on the Christmas Truce map that allow you to send people outside the game digital Christmas cards. But there’s more ! Besides sending them a special WW1 themed Christmas card, you as the sender are joining our special Christmas raffle. Every card that you send counts as one entry, so be sure to send several cards! You can win special WW1 Game Series prices - from gamekeys to peppermint cans and flower grenades ! We’ll contact the winners in the 2nd week of January. Be sure to share your screenshots with us as well in our Discord or Twitter #ChristmasTruce.

There are multiple post offices around the map, each with different post cards – can you find them all?

Merry Christmas everyone!
