A new version of Board Games VR has just been released to the Steam store.

This release comes with a new Checkers game. Along with it are visual and under the hood changes within the game.


Please use the menu button on your controller to show/hide the game menu.

What's new

• New Checkers game
  
• Improved the displayed text
  
• Improved the backgammon game logic
  
• Improved the camera performance
  
• Improved the room content textures and materials
  
• Improved the room light/shadow system
  

Known issues

• Often the computer AI does not play a good game in either backgammon or checkers
  
• After selecting a menu item the menu does not disappear
  
• The checkers game displays dice numbers, even though there are no dice in the game
