Game Description
Immerse yourself in the virtual world of Konrad the Kitten and experience the first virtual cat that feels like a real one.
Konrad, the cute kitten, needs a helping hand and lots of love. You have to satisfy his needs and desires: Give him his cat food in the kitchen, put him in his litter box, let him take a ride in a hot-air-balloon and lots more!
A particular highlight for all cat fans is the unique plush toy mode. This feature brings your favorite plush toy to life as a virtual cat, letting you feel like it's really there. Hold it, cuddle it and play with it as though it were your real pet.
As you gain Konrad's love and affection, you unlock new features. It is your job to make Konrad happy, and you have access to various rooms and areas in which to do so. In the Dress Room, you can unlock more than 50 accessories and dress you kitten any way you want. How about cool glasses, a funny little hat or a suit for Konrad? You can even change the color of his coat.
Play pawsome mini-games and win valuable coins. Hunt mice with Konrad, and catch as many of the nimble rodents as you can. Put your skills and reactions to the test in the fishing game. Or try out the obstacle course, guiding Konrad carefully and skilfully through rings. The more you care for him, the faster his experience increases and his love for you grows. Look after him daily and care for him as though he were a real furry friend.
Watch out: In Version 2.0 Konrad is all grown up and he's not alone any more. Little orphaned kittens are looking for a home and Konrad has to take care of them. The kittens sleep in their basket during the day, but at night they wake up. You and Konrad have to feed the kittens, clean them, play with them and find them when they get lost.
Cuteness overload awaits all cat fans in this unique virtual reality game. Experience a new way to combine real life and virtual reality. Will you be the purrfect pal for Konrad?

I love this game so much! it works like it’s suppose to and it has a cute cat. I
love taking care of the cat and would love to see some new updates to this game.
My only recommendation is to get this on the oculus store if you have a rift. I
made the mistake of buying it twice. So if you see this game on the steam store
buy it on the oculus store instead. But anyway about the game! The game is
lovely i love how you can customize the cat with different hats and skins/fur
colors and I also love the addition to adding kittens to the game so it doesn’t
get boring easily. I can play this for hours and still have lots to do! The mini
games are great too everything is great. If your thinking of getting the game
just buy it it’s a great deal and has lots to do and more! (This is only for
rift so don’t buy it if you have a quest or quest 2 unless you have a link cable
and a gaming PC)

Thumbs up simply because I love the sheer innovativeness and originality of
combining a VR controller with a real life plush toy/object.
More interactive 'scenes' seem to unlock the longer you play (so everything's
not open at once), and I don't think I'll play it long enough to unlock much
more, but like I said, throwing my money here because it's such a neat idea

Looking forward to future development. This is as awesome concept and something
cat lovers will enjoy. I'm not much of a cat person but still had fun playing.
I would like to see an option to be able to reset the game to let multiple
people play with Konrad in one day. I set up the vive for demos at parties and
this would be a cool game for kids to play but I'm unable to play with Konrad
after finishing the tasks for the day. Using both controlers would be neat with
2 different cats.... they could interact together.
Great idea and can't wait to play with Konrad tomorrow and for future updates.

Fun for children (and if no-one is watching, also for bigger 'kids')
VERY easy to play, no complicated buttons, just put the kitty where you want to
go.

Very little content and very rough... but the premise is super strong (my six
year old daughter LOVES it already). With some fairly minor tweaks (eg. the cat
should look at you) and cleaned up sound/animation, this would be amazing. I'll
assume those are coming, and call this a positive review. (It's already
worthwhile if you have young kids).

I got this for my wife, and instead I hogged the headset and stayed up way too
late on a work night, sitting in the middle of the living room while waving
around a stuffed animal.

Cute little gem of a game that plays like a tamagotchi. I like the innovative
way of using the controller, this makes it really unique. But the game also
provides a common way of playing it for everyone who doesn't have a plush toy at
hands.
Graphics and sound are okay but not outstanding. Content is enough to keep you
busy for a while. Definitely worth the money compared to other small VR games.
Finally the gameplay is, what makes it shine.
This is surely the perfect game for your children or cat loving wife. (Maybe
also cat-loving boyfriend ;) )

There's a game in the Lab where you pet a dog-like thing and play with it a bit
and it reacts in a way that really spells out the potential of VR. I'd expected
to see something like that here.
That's not the case. You cannot pet the cat with your controller, your
controller is the cat. It moves unrealistically, because your controller does
not move like a cat. The cat barely moves at all. The cat never looks at you. It
even sleeps with its eyes open.
I thought this must be a game only small kids would enjoy, but I feel like even
they would need to be pretty naive for this. You couldn't put this kind of game
in a VR arcade.
The last part of the game I played was a minigame where where you have to catch
mice before they escape into random holes that magically appear, but at this
point I may as well have been playing hungry hungry hippos. There was no virtual
realism to the cat at all.

Got it on sale for AU$6. Simple enough. Age appropriate for my 7 yo daughter,
who loved it.

This game is sooo freakin cute! I am very happy with this purchase. It runs
great, even on under powered PCs, and it's nice to just sit down with a kitty
for 15 minutes a day. I can't wait to see what future content this game has to
offer. It's exactly the kind of game that casual users can just hop right into
without instruction.

Great practical and fun demonstration of the mixed realities concept, we plan on
running the game at a university-based science event alongside our students
work.
Running on the Oculus via the Steam application and we had no issues (aside from
our rubber bands holding down the trigger accidentally).
The games themselves are fun and easy, needing no instructions - only wish there
was more of them (but that is coming in the new update i hear).
Based on the 10-15 people we have tried it on today, the immersion is quick
people getting attached to the little critter already.
Konrad also being great at support and swift at answering our questions too.
I see some people have asked who this game is for and I would guess its for
people who want to explore other ways to interact in VR and use real world
objects to merge senses more. Certainly a lot of children are enjoying it.
Keep up the development please, would love to see more animations and
interactions - maybe use of the mic to call your cat over or curse !
Thanks again

I first let my wife play the game. Got an awesome video of her catching mice.
The game is really good and innovative. It has a nice feeling with actually a
stuffed animal. The games are quite different and the variaty of minigames it
good. The space where I am playing in has a good atmosphere.
The ring game in the beginning is a bit frustrating, because even if I don't hit
the ring I fail. But after 1 game i became quite good in it.
Some animations have room for improvement. It would also be good to have
different profiles for different people. And if My cat is happy I can't do a
thing with her.
Overall it is a nice relaxing game!

A nicely conceived game. My 8yo loves playing.
Being a tamgotchi game, where you take care of a virtual pet, you fulfill the
needs of the cat. You perform different tasks by placing the cat in different
areas, where it will animate, and fulfill the need.
You can also purchase acccessories for your animal, at a shop, with coins you
earn, by playing the game.
The neat twist, is that you can attach your controller to a physical plush toy,
and thus get the feel of a physical toy, with the in game visuals.
The actual interaction has you moving the plush toy\controller onto different
spots, in the screen, picking up, putting down, or rotating the cat so that it's
upside down. It's well done, as it doesn't require pressing buttons, so it's
more like interacting with an animal, and less like a video game.
The game does require a quick set up by an adult, and the gameplay itself is not
exactly complex, but the player does need to understand the symbols, and what
they mean. It's too complex for a toddler, but somewhere around 8yo is perfect,
probably younger, too, depending on the kid.
Being a tamagotchi game, it is meant to be played in 5-10 min bursts per day,
but there is a command option at start that you can set to reset the timer aka
energy meter, so you can play multiple times, or have multiple people play in a
12hr span.
The graphics are nicely implemented, and the music is sweet, but it can be
turned off if it annoys you. The animations are good, and not over the top.
The game itself seems well optimized. I can crank the SS up to 150%, and only
get motion smoothing on the area selection screen, but no issues in the rest of
the game. This is with a 1080ti. CPU is not an issue.
The dev has a roadmap for upcoming additions, and events. Well worth the time
for a kiddo, or anyone who likes playing with tamagotchi.
Definitely reccomended.

VR is amazing. This is like a nintendo DS game that has a broken stylus made
into a full blown VR game.
The perfect gift for a kid you really dislike. Just get them an old gameboy and
pokemon original instead.
