I think we are overdue for an update to Rustbucket Rumble. Today's patch adds some cool new stuff and fixes some of the most painful bugs.

First off: HATS! You can now outfit your robots with a hat to make sure they are looking good. Some hats can be earned by leveling up, while others can be bought on Steam. Hit the Customize button on the main menu and find a look that suits you!

We've also changed the way free characters work. Previously, all players had access to the same 2 free characters each week. This led to games where only those two characters were present, which gets boring pretty quickly. We've changed it so that each player gets 2 different free characters each week. So I may have Clancy and Kasumi this week, but you may have Bjorn and Valentina. We hope that this change will create much more variety in team comps and more interesting matches.

• Kasumi's Teleport no longer fails if grounded on the Scrap Yard.
  
• The Giant Robot won't eat things that are held by Robots or Carry Drones.
  
• Scraps don't stay invisible if a Kasumi player disconnects while carrying them.
  
• Bjorn can't Throw people through the roof of the Foundry anymore.
  
• Restored the ability to invite friends to Custom Games.
  
• Made some minor performance improvements.
