Game: Manafinder
Manafinder will be released this October 5 2022, which also means that the time has finally come to delist the demo from Steam. Said deactivation will happen this week on 09/28. I've prepared an FAQ to answer any potential questions and concerns you may have about this. Also, feel free to drop a comment below so I can answer any additional question you may have!
I've been meaning to deactivate it earlier, however the demo was a great way to showcase the game on a couple of events, such as the Seattle Indies Expo 2022 which just happened on 09/24: https://store.steampowered.com/sale/six2022
That unfortunately left a very small window between said events and actual release.
The demo and final build have diverged significantly since January/February 2022. While at a first glance they make look very similar, "behind the scenes" there have been some changes. But most importantly, see the question below about the save file.
Short answer: No, at least I don't recommend it for two reasons:
1. You will miss some Steam achievements activation.
2. Save file may cause some bugs further down the line, specially if your save file is from the earlier releases (2021) of the demo.
I understand this is not ideal, and I apologize for this in advance. I'm happy to hear your comments here, and if this is a very contentious point I will definitely try to the best of my abilities to provide alternatives such as perhaps providing a save file that leaves you near the end of the demo.
If you really really insist on still trying the demo even after reading the warnings above, then know that I will leave the demo up on other non-storefront websites, such as rpgmaker.net
Alternatively, the demo was picked up by a couple of gamers that posted their playthroughs on YouTube! Example:
Thank you all for understanding and supporting Manafinder. I really hope that you enjoy the final release! And remember, I am happy to hear you out below in case you have any concerns!
Why now, so near the release date?

Why not leave the demo up?

Can I transfer my save file to the full release?

But I want to try out Manafinder before buying it!
