So, you want to be a Space Viking Raider?
I bet you do. Look at yourself, reading updates about a game called Space Viking Raiders. You’re a beastly warrior in the making just waiting for the opportunity to join your friends online and take on armies of dangerous aliens from other dimensions aren’t you? You’re a hardcore gamer. Quick reflexes, sharp tactics and brutal efficiency, that’s you!
Well then, first things first, you’ve got to learn about your weapons…
Each Space Viking has a unique fighting style used to destroy innocent - uh, we mean unsuspecting - armies in the zany, alien dimensions they raid. Of course, every Space Viking needs their Power Axe. A dual purpose two-handed battle axe with plasma blades and a central barrel that uses elementium power to instantly replicate various ammunition as needed. Melee attacks, and plasma barrages form the core of every raiders arsenal. These are augmented by the strategically crucial Force Push which drag swarms into geometric shapes making them perfect targets for follow-up attacks.
Dredrick ‘Dead Eyes’, the charismatic leader, uses Chain Lightning that grows in power as it jumps to annihilate large groups of closely packed enemies. Fiercely loyal and dedicated to his crew, he also uses the Metablast ability to clear the immediate area of enemies when his Space Vikings are in danger.
Athelia, the capable pilot and 2nd in command, relies on precise control of her axe swing to hit the unwieldy but devastating Manglebang toward oncoming warriors. When the situation calls for a more thoughtful approach, she takes it upon herself to launch 1 or 2 Fusion Freezes onto the battlefield to freeze enemy units in place, providing time and space to counter-attack efficiently.
Tommy K, the berserker, is encouraged to charge headlong into enemy waves laying waste with his axe and dropping his Nutball Bombs as he goes, doing high damage to small groups. He uses his brute strength and a seismic projector to cast up Rock Walls that funnel enemies towards vulnerable bottlenecks.
Nakano ‘Zica’ Zicarus, the crews weapons expert, just loves to blow shit up. Her Clusterbomb detonates above the battlefield raining explosive charges randomly over an area. When an enemy turret or spawner proves particularly challenging, she rarely hesitates to use the energy hungry but awesomely powerful Quantum Clap to snipe structures from extreme range.
