Game: VERSUS SQUAD
Hello everyone,
I wanted to release this quick update before the weekend, this contains some additional things requested by players:
Reviving:
You now get +10% Health bonus yourself when you revive another player, giving reviving an added incentive. You'll see a '+10 HP' popup when you get this extra health.
Bosses:
Added the final ramp-up of extra aggression for the Gatling Gun, Mortar, Tank and Rotor Bosses. (I've added this ramp-up in stages over the last 3 updates so that gameplay didn't suddenly change too much.)
What this means:
If there is only 1 boss (left) on the map: The above boss types may launch attacks up to 2x more often than they originally did.
With 2 or more bosses: there's no change.
To compensate, Boss 'bleed-out' speed has increased by 5% when there's only one boss left on the screen. (Just in case for those who didn't notice this: bosses just like regular enemies slowly bleed out/lose health after they've taken any type of damage).
Repairing:
Repairing is now more precise: It will only kick in if you're at the *same* barricade/sentry for a second or more. If you run past another barricade, you won't suddenly start repairing and losing money unless you stop at that barricade for a short time.
Misc:
You should no longer be able to harm other players during the build phase.
New Boss direction indicator/arrow stays visible for 5 seconds longer.
Reduced bandwidth for on-line games by a further 4-5%. In total, bandwidth needed has now been reduced by about 30% since Versus first launched. Every bit helps for those who have slower connections :)
