Hello everyone
I know updates have been VERY limited, and that is by design. I don't want to speak about updates until they are ready.
There has been a great amount of work performed over the past year as stated in the last post (a year ago). Most of this work has been a combination of completely reworking just about everything while bringing fresh ideas in implementation to the game (as the game just was not in a good place with current available build here... at all).
A lot of what we wanted to do became less possible due to a lot of optimization issues and mistakes made earlier on. As so many lessons were learned throughout this entire process, we have been able to reimagine and refactor so many things which has given us a great opportunity to fully realize just about of the original grand vision of the game and potentially more. Time will tell.
I mentioned doing better with communication in my last post, and to be honest, part of this is not sharing anything until we have something worth sharing.
As a lot of the work has been refactoring the game in its entirety, there hasn't been much to share in regard to new information from last year. I will commit to providing and giving updates only when I have something worthwhile and valuable to share. I am hoping that will be sooner than later.
I do not have an ETA for the next update or when the game will be finally released. I can say that I still have full intentions to build and release the final game, but not until its ready.
I am thoroughly unsatisfied with the current state of the game available that is available to you right now. The next update will be a monumental one where you should see the game take on a VERY new, improved and much more functional, enjoyable state.
Right now, the game just isn't what we dreamed of it to be, but what I have been working on since, is a HUGE leap forward, but again, my goal is not to repeat the mistakes of the past by rushing to get something out.
I definitely feel like a broken record saying "thanks for your patience", but that is the best that I can offer right now, until I have another build ready for release. To those still hanging in there, thank you so very much, and I will continue to keep to my word of working to get the game released.
