Game: Vol'Talkes - The AI War
Greetings!
Today we released our first patch! =)
Changelog:
Mod-Tool:
The compiler now uses all available CPU cores of your machine, and indicates a progress bar. That way you know the process isn't stopping, and you see how long it takes to compile all textures, texts and shaders.
Compiling now will me much faster
Engine:
Soundsystem - You heard the music, now you hear the sounds. Gunfire and explosions now can be heard, depending on how far or close the camera is to the unit.
Priority Targets - preparation for the AI. Units now prefer to attack other unit classes they are most efficient against, if now new attack order is given
Savegames - A bug was fixed for Windows Vista where occasionally you couldn't load your savegames anymore.
Armorsystem - Armor now has a much different effect on incoming damage depending what armor type it is - taking down the stations should take significant longer than destroying enemy units
Game:
Fighter Launch - Fighters are now launched from carriers - this is a preparation for a carrier system we are currently developing.
New Units - some new units are added
