Having fun with this game so far. Cute little collect-a-thon platformer
(obviously inspired by Banjo-Kazooie and other games like that from the late
1990s / early 2000s). I have to say though, the character voice acting is
annoying as all hell... I get that it is trying to recreate the style from the
classic games, but it's way too much. Definitely turn the voices down / off.

Great game, awful final boss. Just a really cute and relaxing game based off
Banjo-Kazooie.

The reviews were all over the place with this game. Consider it a less refined
Banjo Kazooie experience. It does have its issues but nothing is terrible. To
keep the review short, it just needed refinement. If you like platformers you
will like this most likely. Definitely worth checking out considering how cheap
this gets when it goes on sale. I would like to see the devs do a 3d sequel with
a bigger budget.

I haven't played this game in a while but to me this is the real banjo threeie.
I knew the levels were gonna be huge and take forever to explore and all the
other problems I can't remember right now off the top of my head but I didn't
care at the time and still don't and also never viewed them as problems. This
game made me feel like a child again playing banjo tooie which was my very first
banjo game and the giant levels were a problem in tooie but again never bothered
me.
I loved getting lost for hours just exploring figuring out where to go and how
to get things that seemed impossible and just all around feeling like a real
adventure and yooka laylee gave me that exact feeling when I first played it.
Just feeling like a kid again and enjoying everything the game had to offer.
It's been 24 fucking years and were all still waiting for a real banjo threeie
but like I said before this felt like banjo threeie to me and even if it does or
never comes out I'll always love this game.
