A few levels in and the game is really hard, you have to manage a ton of precise
inputs with two characters I can't imagine how hard it gets past the first
zone.. But it plays well and its satisfying

Great level design! Dialog could use some work.

I gave the game a shot because it looked decent.
Obviously heavily inspired by celeste and for the most part just a direct rip in
almost all regards. However they failed to copy the most important part of
celeste, the player movement. This game controls absolutely terribly. I made it
like halfway through the first chapter before calling it quits. There is no way
I was gonna struggle to play the game any further than that if those were just
the beginning levels and the character already felt so janky to control. Can't
even imagine what it is like on the later levels that actually require
precision.
I've played many platformers over the years, some good and some bad. This is
definitely not one of the good ones unfortunately. If they ever fully rework how
the grapple, dash, and movement in this game it probably wouldnt be bad, from
the trailer the level design later on doesn't look bad and it looks like it
could be a decent challenge. But as it is the controls are actually some of the
worst I have ever experienced. The grapple specifically just feels incredibly
stupid to use.
Also for no apparent reason when jumping on walls in the right direction you can
only wall jump 2 times, but when jumping on walls in the left direction you can
infinitely jump? Bug or intended? no idea.
Also, not to mention the literal control scheme of the game. What kind of sick
person sets the B button as confirm and the A button as the "back" button?
bruh...
