how do i have 200 hours in this game, i dont remember playing a day of it
Its a fun survival game that starts off as a rouge-like, and slowly becomes a building game as you get better and better at surviving. The game will throw you in with little to no help on how to survive or how anything works but that's part of the fun. Recently they added a few things like a scrap book to help you learn more about the world and sometimes what to do next. Overall is a fun experience that if given enough time, can be incredibly fun and rewarding! Extra notes: buying this game will give you an extra copy of it into your inventory for you to give to a friend so you can both starve together!
Don't Starve Together is one of my favorite games of all time. If you like a sandbox survival game with a little more challenge than stuff like minecraft, this is the game for you. It has your basic mechanics like health, hunger, enemies, but then theres a literal sanity stat which makes you hallucinate monsters that will fight you unless you manage it. You can do so much stuff in this game. Want to just chill and survive? You can do that. Want to explore interesting land, ocean, islands, caves, and more? You can do that. Want to bring a friend? It's called Dont Starve Together for a reason. Want to watch OrangE youtube videos about dst lore over and over while you wait for him to post a new video? You can do that. Want to pin bosses against each other? You can do that. Want a final boss? Theres literally 2 and more content after that. There is so much personality and passion in this game. I mean Klei makes an entire character short per update. Yes this game is still getting updates. It's awesome. Here is a pros and cons list so this looks like a professional review: Pros: 1. Good Character Variety. You can choose whoever you want each with their own ups and downs (except wx-78 hes my main hands off). 2. Good Enemies And Bosses. The enemies in this game are unique and interesting with their own attack patterns and varieties. 3. Crossover with terraria. If terraria did a crossover with it you know the games good 4. The progression. There is a lot of progression in this game, but it doesn't force you at all. The future updates add things in a way that doesn't punish any players not keeping up with it, instead giving more progressed players more challenges and rewards 5. The mods. I have never seen a game with modding as easy as this. Forget Tmodloader for terraria, this is the way to do it. All you do is hit the get mods button, choose to subscribe to the ones you want (completely free btw), and then you can enable them before launching a server. 6. artstyle. its good, im not an artist but i like it. cons: 1. very harsh for beginners. ok i get it if you say this game is tough for beginners, but when it says an "UNCOMPROMISING SURVIVAL game full of science and magic," you should know what your getting into 2. Soundtrack. It's pretty bare bones. I don't enjoy it very much, but the simplicity matches the games tone. You dont want spiderdance from undertale type music blasting while your picking flowers and berries 3. Walter telling stories on the campfire. dont trust the sanity meter going up youre real life sanity will plummet 4. The rollbacking feature. I get its to avoid griefing but its just too easy to die and then push a button to have no consequences. Yes there are reviving methods in game and even modes that allow instant revives but if theres a button to go back before the fire hound burns my base and kills glommer, im gonna abuse it :(. In summary, there is a reason my profile picture is chester. one more piece of advice: dont trust maxwell mains trust
why don't they just get food? duh
My gf yells at me in this game every time we play 11/10
This game is really cool with its survival mechanics, nice characters, majestic bosses, and elaborate gameplay. I want to give this game a 10/10, but I'll give it a 9/10 because I'm starving, and my sanity is lower than 30. I think I will die soon.
Muito maneiro legal bom maneiro
Game is good, it's got a good loop. It's not for me though. If I want to get a good experience I'll just play the single player version of this game. If you have friends It's a blast. If you are a introvert like me and enjoy the companionship of inner thought monologue than its not for you either.
After 2000 hrs this game is constantly updating and changing and improving. Klei has done a fantastic job of updating everything to keep up with, not only their ongoing lore in cinematic shorts, but also the ever-growing community of players. There are tons of mods to customize your experience- some even supported by klei themselves- and even in vanilla DST no two games will ever be the same. Whether you're playing with friends, random people, or yourself, DST still proves to be a challenge especially for new players. The community itself is so welcoming however, and- true to the title- together you can learn how to survive and uncover many of the games bosses and secrets. Even if you're a "cozy gamer" please give DST a try. There are plenty of options to give yourself an easier more relaxed experience. You'll find that the overall artistic charm of the game coupled with all the different playable characters makes it all worthwhile. If you're into lore btw, definitely go binge watch their cinematic shorts on youtube!
Cool but I starved alone
Fun
god I love stealing tall bird eggs and leading their mothers back to the base while my responsible friends put out the 15 fires I accidentally started
Good
The cooperative aspect adds a fantastic layer to the game. Working together with friends to gather resources, fend off monsters, and build a base creates a strong sense of camaraderie. The game's crafting system is deep and rewarding, encouraging experimentation and strategic planning to survive the ever-changing threats.
I liked this game years ago when i picked it up and played it. Recently I dusted it off because I was excited to have a multiplayer game to pick up with my friends. However playing now even on the next to easiest mode is too punishing for new players who don't know what they are doing. In today's abundance of video games, I don't have more than 30 minutes to decide if I want to play something or not. I guess that's just how games mature over time, changing their target audience from new players who want to learn the game to more seasoned players. I would not recommended this to people playing the first time unless you are willing to slog through the beginning and maybe it gets better then. I don't know, I didn't give it that much of my time.
Wilson is my babygirl
At first I didn't understand anything and now i still don't understand anything.
It's ok if you want hard stuff BUT with your friends (How spicy)
This is more of a survival game without any hand holding, except you really have to make progress or you will die. Permanently. I don't particularly enjoy it, but people definitely do.
good game you play and the more you learn the more fun it gets and easier it gets and also it got touhou mods in teh workshops so yeah c:
Don't Starve Together is a open world multiplayer survival craft game where you have to fight, farm, build, and explore the wilds in all four seasons. I recommend this game for many reasons: It has a pretty beautiful artwork. It has an interesting gameplay. It is very challenging and difficult. It is very customizable. It has nice soundtrack. The main downside is the fighting mechanism, which is very average. 8/10.

perfect but needs more sex mod. /j
if you dont like needing to stare at a wiki page for any insight on what to do in this game then you'd be better off skipping this one.
I don't really get it. It's got really neat and interesting aspects but sometimes the collision is just so off that I can't really find a way to enjoy it. There seems to be something to it but I don't think it's worth the time to find out.
good. can be a bit challenging when both you and your friend are autistic. i like.
so hungy
