Game Description
Vitrum is a 3D, first person, puzzle/platform game. The main character is an android designed to convert energy from crystals into powers. The android can absorb energy in each of his hands, allowing him to combine different powers. One of the coolest powers is the ability to invert the gravity, because it’s 3d and because the player can freely choose when and where to use it! Vitrum takes place in a desert laboratory full of different colored crystals. Some crystals grant powers, others are harmful to the android.
The player will have to figure out how to use the crystals, solve the puzzles and finish each stage in Vitrum. Features:
- Stage editor
- More than 45 stages.
- Collect crystal shards to unlock Insane stages.
- Each crystal color represents a power, explore each color and discover every power the android can execute.
- Combine powers to solve more difficult puzzles.
- Explore 3D gravity inversion, materialization of crystal platforms, super high jumps and other powers.

Recommended To: People who like “Portal” and such games and are looking for a
small game with editor from an indie dev. Now that’s a narrow market!
Other: For me the best part of the game is the editor, and there has only been a
nominal number of new levels submitted. Take that as you wish.

At $5.50 CDN it’s not that expensive and it does go on sale / in bundle now and
then.
Con:
Not much to this game at the moment
Tiny dev community
Push:
The graphics look futuristic in a 1990s sort of way
Overall:
5/10 +2 demo +1 level editor -1 not that fun -1 buggy for some people (I'm fine
though)= 6/10
Grab the demo. Play the crap out of it. If you’re having fun grab the game on
sale.
For me the levels were either too simple, annoying or hard. So I downloaded some
available levels in-game. Meh again goldilocks & the 3 bears type of thing.
So I started playing around with the level editor - 16.9 hours in game and
nearly 30 in editor (doesn’t show in steam).
Thus my problem. How do I rate a game that I have more fun working on the game
than actually playing the game?
I decided thumbs up due to the demo & level editor …. Seriously this is now 2016
WTF do we not have demos for EVERY GAME?!? Hey steam! You see that wish list?
Half of those games would already be in my account if I could demo them … then
again half of them would probably not be on my wish list either.

I will just start off quickly by saying only pay for if you have a high end pc.
With mine, it lags and that's because the game does'nt believe in dumping
unnessary things, things that are no longer needed so only pay if the game is on
sale.
I really like puzzle games. I have portal and play games that require much
expeirence and tallant in jumping and making the right moves. One small wrong
move would send you back to the beginning of that session or entire map so every
move is important in other words.
This game has waht I want but it seems very bugged. When making a patch of ice
from the blue crystals, you can only make them to you're character's chest level
and down to you're feet. When jumping, not every move like the super jump (what
you get from red crystals) can be made while doing a jump. I noticed at times
when standing on the edge of the dangerous crystals that can kill you if you
stand at a certain point, they won't harm you unless you go any further.

I don't know why i wasted my money on this. This game is boring and i don't know
if the creator tried to help Valve to create new Portal. Don't be as foolish as
I was. Try the demo before you buy.

Interesting game. Has some glitches and sometimes I can't figure out which door
opened when I pressed something. Could use some more checkpoints in levels as
well. Die and you have to do the entire level over again, so far only found 1
checkpoint in the game. Level editor sounds interesting yet I haven't tried it
yet. Could potentially result in some pretty neat stuff.
Not the most exciting game ever, but it's cool.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both
are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was
self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of
control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This
resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked
with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I
desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost
suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest
man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger
outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough
situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while
recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I
decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I
play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day
or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I
managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I
could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥
minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt
a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the
father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue,
or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am
with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation,
and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating
for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had
given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This
silly little game helped me realize that.
Thank you.

I really thought I'd like it, but the level design is poor and the game is made
tricky by running at around 10fps (my computer is powerful, and the
developer-supplied 'patch' does not help). I wish I could get my money back.
Don't be as foolish as I was; try the demo before you buy.

Not a very good game... Carries heavy ties with shovelware games, such as poorly
shaded assets and font decisions. This feels like a Unity game despite acting
worse than one at times. I feel like this game tries too hard to be something
like portal without doing anything really cool. I only wanted to play more to
see if I could get a scope of how big the game was and I kinda got that it was a
pretty long game. There are a lot of levels but they don't explore too many new
ideas in each of them so they aren't unique.
I can't find anything truly redeemable about this game.

This game had great potential, and I really liked the idea, but I ended up
disliking the game as I progressed. It seems like at later levels they stopped
focusing on the puzzle aspect of the game, and started to focus on platforming
and skill jumps instead. To me, once you understand how to beat a level in a
puzzle game, it should take a couple of tries max to beat the level. This is
best seen in Portal. Some of you probably think its not fair to compare the two
games, but in reality they have very similar concepts. In Vitrum, however, I
often found myself extremely frustrated at my inability to complete a level that
I knew how to beat. Don't get me wrong, I like platforming just as much as the
next guy, but this game takes it too far for my tastes. Almost every level
includes some sort of difficult jump that made it difficult to beat. This is the
type of stuff that I would liked to have known before buying it. If you like
platforming, then go ahead and buy it, If not, stay away.

This game is more about trick jumps and landings more than anything. It's a fine
platformer but a weak puzzle game.

A bit laggy for me but the concept is cool. You can have up to two powers at one
to help you navigate the puzzles. The controls are pretty easy to get used to. I
suggest the trying the demo version first.

i had a little bit hope for the game
a puzzle game, like portal (and also I wanted the V badge) but the game just
doesn't really interest me. the mechanic isn't really that fun and i was having
some framrate issues.
the controls felt slippery and i felt like I didn't have good control over my
character. for puzzle games lover this would be a pretty fun game but it's just
feels unplayable.
just go play portal for the 100th time
